After talking with Pegasus late into night Chibiusa feel asleep. It wasn't a very deep sleep and she felt restless the whole time. Eventually she woke up again and something didn't feel quite right. She winced a bit as she stretched and yawned. Slowly and groggily she sat up and rubbed her eyes. It wasn't until she actually opened her eyes that things went bad. It was dark. She could barely see what was in front of her. There's no way her attic room would be that dark. Even at night the streetlights and stars leaked their glow into her window.

Frantically she felt around only to have her arm touch something soft...it was skin. Someone else's skin. There was someone lying next to her. Immediately she leaped out of the bed and let out a shrill cry. And as she did she felt a tight pain form in her chest, causing her to scream even more and collapse to her knees.

"Me?!" Simon was slowly getting up, to his knees after the pain-- "Agh!" The second he had moved away from her the pain came rushing back. He fell again, panting. "Who the hell are you and what are you doing in my room?! H-how did you even get in here?! My door--" He groaned. "And can you stop screaming in my ear?!" It was too early for this.

She took a few deep breaths to try an calm down. From the sound of it, whoever it was, was just as confused as she was. Though that could have all been an act.

"I don't know what I'm doing here. I just woke up and I was here!"

There was one thing he'd learned through the last few moments. Don't. Let. Go. No matter who she was, if Simon let go of her, he was going to end up in pain. After sitting up, hand still on her arm, he turned on the lights on his goggles.

"My name's Simon. Now who are you?"

Simon? Hadn't that been the name of the boy on the community? But then there were plenty of Simon's in the world.

"Chibiusa," she replied.

A few seconds passed by. The wheels in his head were rusty from sleep. And then it came to him.

"Wait. Chibi--like from... the community?"

"Wait. You mean it is the Simon from the community!?" she shouted.

"Why'd you take me here? What do you want with me!?"

"Take you--? Why would I want you here?! How am I gonna explain this to Yoko? What about Nia?! Why did I wake up with you screaming in my bed?!" It took every speck of his will to not let go of her in his half-coherent anger.

"Well I don't know!" Chibiusa cried, just as loud as him. "I just went to bed and woke up here. I don't even know where 'here' is!"

"...Well, we're not getting anywhere by yelling. I just woke up and you were here... I was having a nice dream, too." Simon crossed his legs, resting his free hand on his knee. He was glad the walls were sturdy and well-insulated. "... You're on the Dai-Gurren, in my room. We're heading for the city of Teppelin, and we're... somewhere on the surface." He didn't exactly know. That's why Kinon and Leeron were in charge of navigation~

"Wait. So I'm not even on Earth anymore?" Chibiusa was quiet for a minute while she tried to calm down and think things over. She had been warned that strange things happen to people on the community. Minako had mentioned viruses. She wondered if that was what was going on.

"Can we get to the community from here?" she asked.

"... This is my Earth... but from what you said, I doubt it's anything like yours." He sighed and nodded his head to the closet next to his bed. "The bo--computer is in there. It normally lets me onto it. What do you want it for?"

"Minako told me about weird viruses that happen on the community. I was wondering if anybody there knew what was going on," she explained.

Without thinking she stood up, out of Simon's reach and headed to the door he'd motioned too. Once again the chest pain returned and she collapsed back to the ground, unable to move.

He grasped at her for a moment, flailed, rolled and grabbed onto her, sprawled flat on his stomach. Suddenly, he was glad for the size of his room. "Don't... do that. It's a bad idea." He was breathing heavily again.

Chibiusa gasped for air as her heart started beating at a normal rate once more.

"What...was...that?" she asked in between gasped. "Why's this happening?"

"I have no idea, but it happens whenever we're not touching. So don't let go, okay?" He looked dead serious, and with only the light of his goggles to go by... he looked pretty scary.

She didn't like the idea one bit, but she didn't like Simon's look or the chest pains either so she sighed and grabbed his hand with her own. "Fine, then lead me to the computer okay?"

He sighed and stood, flicking on the light. The sudden brightness made the small size and barrenness of the room obvious. After turning off his head lamp, he opened the closet, rooted through a few extra pairs of shorts, he found it. "Here." It was small, about the size of a modern-day Acer One, blue and lightweight. He set it on the bed as it buzzed to life. "Do whatever you want."

Chibiusa didn't say anything, but she frowned as she tried to figure out the computer. It was pretty different from what she was used to, both in her own time and in the past, but she was able to work it out and made a post to the community.

"There. Now we just wait for replies."

"...Do you really think it's linked to that? I mean, it's just some... computer thing. Could that box really be affecting us?" ... though inside there was less speculation. Why not? It had let him talk to Kamina again. Let him meet Bass, even let them fight... why NOT bring what looked to be an eight (but how should he know, he looked eight himself, and he was almost double that) year old into his room? Stranger things had happened.

"I don't know. But it's a good place to start looking don't you think?"

It was an odd place, and Chibiusa was used to things that most people would consider odd. So when something strange like what had just happened occured, she figured it would be a good place to start looking.

"And what then? What are we supposed to do about the dan?" He heaved a heavy sigh. "Just pretend they don't exist? I'm pretty sure they're gonna have a lot of questions about you." He stared intently at the door. Oh, boy.

"The dan?" Chibiusa asked, giving Simon a confused look. "What's that?"

"The Dai-Gurren-dan. I'm their leader. We fight so that humans can live above land." He didn't look away from the door. "Aniki made it."
