[RL with Simon]

After talking with Pegasus late into night Chibiusa feel asleep. It wasn't a very deep sleep and she felt restless the whole time. Eventually she woke up again and something didn't feel quite right. She winced a bit as she stretched and yawned. Slowly and groggily she sat up and rubbed her eyes. It wasn't until she actually opened her eyes that things went bad. It was dark. She could barely see what was in front of her. There's no way her attic room would be that dark. Even at night the streetlights and stars leaked their glow into her window.

Frantically she felt around only to have her arm touch something soft...it was skin. Someone else's skin. There was someone lying next to her. Immediately she leaped out of the bed and let out a shrill cry. And as she did she felt a tight pain form in her chest, causing her to scream even more and collapse to her knees.

Still blushing Chibiusa took the coat and somehow managed to slip it on, making sure to hold the front closed tightly with her free hand.

"Thanks," she muttered again. "Where do we go now?"

He got to his feet, gently pulling her with him. "Just follow me. And... don't mention the community. Or Kamina. If you know him."

Chibiusa nodded. Easy enough. She followed Simon along quietly as she observed her new surroundings.

The Dai-Gurren was built like a well-kept ship from the early 1900s. Simon's corridor was empty, metal, and cold. The way he wanted it when he had his choice. After ascending a couple of floors, it was much more open, with wooden floors and painted walls. He sneaked into the cafeteria, hoping no one was there.

...And it was almost true. There was old Coco, cooking breakfast. After a quick smile, he grinned to Chibiusa. "Take what you'd like." His mood was much less tense, up here.

Chibiusa smiled for the first time since she woke up once the smell of the food hit her. She picked out a few things for herself, but didn't take too much so she wouldn't look like Usagi. Even if nobody there knew who Usagi was.

"It looks good," she said to Simon after she'd made her final decisions on what to get.

"Coco's a great cook. Better than our last one, actually. We didn't expect him to be able to do much. He never talks." Simon rambled, leading her over to a table. "No one will be in here for a while. We're all pretty wiped lately."

Chibiusa smiled and said a quick thank you to Coco before following Simon to the table. She sat down and began eating, all the while wondering what it must be like to live in such a place.

"Are things...going better?" she asked.

He bit into his food, thinking. "It depends on what you call better."

"Okay..." she said taking another bite. "How about you just share what's been going on?"
